William M. Hansen, JD, LLM, ChFC, has spent nearly 20 years focusing on estate and elder law issues. Although he has worked at large law firms, he prefers the friendliness of a small team and the time to get to know his clients well. As a father of four children, Bill understands firsthand how excellent advice on estate planning issues impacts the lives of those you love. Since 2000, Bill has been named by his peers a Super Lawyer™ in Minnesota Law & Politics. This honor is based on his reputation in the estate planning area along with a Masters degree in tax law from William Mitchell College of Law. Bill was the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award from Hamline University School of Law, where he earned his law degree. Bill has also been a guest speaker on the WCCO radio show, Successful Money Strategies, and is frequently asked to teach continuing education to financial planning professionals at ProSource. Bill's professional memberships include the American, Minnesota State, and Hennepin County Bar Associations. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and he is a board member of the Minnesota Financial Planning Association. |
